From the Contest Floor to Life at IBM - A Chat with Jason Eilts

What does it really take to go from an ACM-ICPC contestant to a full time IBMer? Former ACM-ICPC World Finalist and current IBM employee Jason Eilts shares his thoughts with podcast host Amanda Carl. A 2008 World Finals contestant from Illinois State University, Jason is currently a full-fledged IBM employee working as a software engineer for IBM's Rational ClearQuest software management tool. Jason discusses his experiences at the 2008 Banff World Finals, his internship with IBM's ExtremeBlue program, and his day-to-day responsibilities as a software developer. He'll also share some key advice for succeeding at the World Finals competition.
